1. What we collect
This website collects personal information only when you submit a form. We do not build a profile of you while you browse.
- Enquiry form: name, company, email, phone, subject, message.
- Sample request: project name, project contact, company, email, phone, region, address, brand and model currently used, model required, estimated annual usage, requested sample date, and the models and quantities requested.
- Server access logs: request time, requested address, browser identification string, and source IP address.
Required fields are the ones we need in order to answer your enquiry. The rest are optional and leaving them blank does not affect our reply.
2. Why we collect it
- To answer your technical questions, quotation requests and sample requests. That is the only purpose for which we collect your name, contact details and requirements.
- IP addresses are used solely to rate-limit submissions from the same source and prevent form spam. We do not use them for location or advertising.
- We do not use your information for marketing unrelated to your enquiry, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.
3. Browser storage and cookies
This website does not currently use advertising cookies and has no third-party analytics or social plugins. We store only two functional items in your browser:
- Language preference (chasesun.lang): remembers whether you chose the Chinese or English version.
- Notice dismissal (chasesun.lang.dismissed): remembers that you closed the "an English version is available" bar, so it is not shown again.
Both stay in your browser, are never sent to our servers, and are removed when you clear your browser data. See the Cookie Notice for details.
4. Where it is stored
Information submitted through the forms is stored in the database of our own website server and is visible only to authorised sales and engineering staff through a password-protected admin area. Admin sign-in state is kept only for the current browser session and ends when the browser is closed.
5. Your rights
Wherever you are located, you may ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is inaccurate;
- delete the enquiry record you submitted;
- stop contacting you about that enquiry.
Use the contact details on our contact page. To protect your information we may first need to confirm that the request comes from you.
6. Third parties
This website embeds no third-party advertising, analytics or social tracking code. If that changes, we will update this page and say so on the site before starting to use it.
7. Contact
If you have questions about this policy or wish to exercise the rights above, please contact us through our contact page.
This page describes the site as it currently works and is updated whenever the site changes.
